A Quick Note From Me

I wanted to let you know that I'll be pressing pause on Chasing Silver Fish for a while.

Behind the scenes, I've been working on a book that's completely taken over my (hyper) focused brain 🙂 It explores how organizations can move beyond surface-level neuroinclusion and tap into the genuine value of cognitive diversity.

The idea is simple but important: most workplaces still try to "accommodate" neurodivergent minds within systems never designed for them. What if we flipped that thinking? What if difference isn't a challenge to work around, but actually a source of significant, even necessary, advantage?

The book will offer practical strategies for building new systems: partnering distinctive human thinking styles with adaptive AI to honor natural cognition, reduce unnecessary friction, and transform hidden potential into visible contributions.

To my newest subscribers, I apologize for stepping away just as you've joined us. For those who've been with Chasing Silver Fish (or AI-For-Everyone) for a while, I can't thank you enough. This newsletter has been my thinking space and the incubator for many new ideas that will be featured in the book.

I'll periodically add content to a new YouTube channel, @chasingsilverfish if you'd like to stay connected during this break.

I'm aiming to complete the book for a third-quarter release and will certainly let you know when it's ready.

For now, I need to focus entirely on finishing something that I believe truly matters - a new perspective on how we work, who gets to contribute fully, and what meaningful inclusion can look like as AI reshapes our working world.

Warmly,

Janet Fitzpatrick-Wilks
